Pastor Tucker was born and raised in Madison County, MS. At the age of 13, he came to Jackson, MS,
Pastor Tucker accepted Christ at an early age and since then has dedicated his life to serving the Lord. He was called into the Ministry before he was known by anyone here on earth. He answered at the age of 19. He served as a Youth Deacon, Sunday School Teacher, Usher, Youth Choir Member as a Missionary for the Jackson District Association and Co-Chairman for the Jackson Youth Convention and later served as East Mississippi Missionary Chairman, Meridian, MS.
He attended Brinkley High School, graduating in 1969. He attended Utica Jr. College and Tougaloo College from 1970 to 1973 majoring in Philosophy and Religion. Pastor has also undertaken extensive studies in Theology at Wesley Theological Seminary, National Baptist Congress of Christian Education and the American Banking College.
Pastor Tucker was employed with Deposit Guaranty National Bank, currently (AMSOUTH) for 30 before retiring. He as served as Pastor and Leader of Bright Star MB Church, Crystal Springs, MS, MT Olive MB Church, Carthage, MS, Hopewell MB Church, Slyverena, MS and New Prospect MB Church, Meridian, MS. God then assigned him to Truevine Baptist Church where he is currently carrying out the mandate of his assignment in the body of Christ in providing spiritual leadership and guidance to the members, congregation and community.
Pastor Tucker places his family second only to God. He is married to Harriet and God blessed them with love and spiritual guidance for their 3 children: Claude Edward Jr.,
Rev. Craig Eugene and Chemeeka Evette. God continued to bless throughout the years in adding to their family 2 daughters-in laws, Kim Tucker and Tonya Tucker. God’s blessings did not stop there for they are proud grandparents of two lovely granddaughters, Calandra Eyanna and Catilin Elizabeth. |
